SINOPSE

É 1957 quando Eleonora, dona de uma escola de etiquetas para moças, conhece sua nova vizinha, Mariangela, uma jovem presa em um casamento infeliz e no restrito ideal de mulher da época. Imediatamente, Eleonora se compadece da inadequação de Mariangela e a torna seu novo projeto pessoal - ou seja, transformá-la em uma dama digna do respeito dos mais ilustres membros da pequena cidade do interior paulista onde vivem. O único problema é que Mariangela não quer nada disso: ela quer o contrário e fará das tripas coração para isso.

ENGLISH SYNOPSIS

It's 1957 when Eleonora, owner of an etiquette school for young women, meets her new neighbor, Mariangela, a young woman trapped in an unhappy marriage and the restrictive ideal of womanhood of the time. Immediately, Eleonora takes pity on Mariangela's inadequacy and makes her her new personal project – that is, to transform her into a lady worthy of the respect of the most illustrious members of the small countryside town where they live. The only problem is that Mariangela wants none of that: she wants the opposite and it will take a lot of guts for her to get it.
