SINOPSE
Rafael quer fazer um filme sobre a história de sua família. Ele desenvolve um roteiro de longa-metragem e mergulha num denso processo de pesquisa, buscando documentos, fazendo entrevistas, digitalizando milhares de fotos. Contudo, ele sempre acaba caindo na armadilha de preencher as lacunas deixadas pelo tempo.

É então que ele pede para Lucas, seu marido, filmar parte do processo. E é durante um café da manhã na casa de sua avó de 96 anos e que sofre com demência já há algum tempo, que ele se dá conta que as lacunas e os vestígios também tem sua importância. Afinal, eles derivam de algo que o passado não tem: o presente.

ENGLISH SYNOPSIS

Rafael wants to make a film about his family's history. He develops a feature-length script and immerses himself in a dense research process, searching for documents, conducting interviews, and digitizing thousands of photos. However, he always ends up falling into the trap of filling in the gaps left by time. That's when he asks Lucas, his husband, to film part of the process. And it's during breakfast at the home of his 96-year-old grandmother, who has been suffering from dementia for some time, that he realizes that the gaps and traces also have their importance. After all, they derive from something that the past does not have:
the present.
